"Today, like every other day, we wake up empty and scared. Don't open the door to the study and begin reading. Take down the dulcimer. Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground."

–Julal ad-Din Rumi

Mentoring is offered for individuals who have already experienced psychotherapy and would like to continue to explore particular aspects of their personal and/or communal lives through the lens of depth psychology. These may include vocational endeavors, creativity, professional enhancement, engagement with community, health and wellness, relationship and spirituality.

Mentees engage with me in a collaborative process in order to develop their own creative practices to cultivate curiosity, nuance, intuition, expertise and skillfulness in the areas of their personal inquiry. By way of journal writing, art, research, reverie, dream, mental and spiritual practices, investigation and experimentation, we will follow psyche’s direction toward a more mindful, meaningful and imaginative life expression.

This work can be done individually or in mentorship councils of two or more. Mentees determine the shape, frequency and duration of visits, based on their own needs. Sessions may be scheduled in a variety of configurations including weekly, monthly, day-long or weekend studio formats.

Day-long or weekend MENTORING STUDIO EXPERIENCES can be arranged for individuals and groups.

If you are interested in mentoring please indicate your interest by filling out and submitting the form on the Contact page, or call George directly at (206) 860-8569.
