Ring the bells that still can ring...
Forget your perfect offering
There’s a crack, a crack in everything...
That’s how the light gets in.
— Leonard Cohen, Anthem

I have practiced and taught the art of psychotherapy for over forty years. It has always been, for me, a soul endeavor and a way of life. Following the tracks of psyche is a cause for astonishment and a call to humility. I am moved by the courage, creativity and imagination of those I serve.

I incorporate various perspectives and modalities including Jungian and Archetypal Psychology, Dream Tending, Couple and Family Systems, Narrative approaches and Mindfulness. Where fitting, I incorporate the literary and expressive arts. Ultimately,  I practice in the tradition of Depth Psychology which views psychotherapy as soul work and meets each symptom with hospitality and reverence.

I view my relationship with those I serve as a creative and collaborative endeavor. It is informed by cultural, mytho-poetic, artistic and somatic inquiry into the human experience.

It is my privilege to serve as participant, guide and witness. I bring to the therapeutic encounter the successes and failures of my own life experience, my sense of humor, my respectful regard for psyche, my care for the world, and a deep reverence for the art and mystery of this work and for all those who so valiantly engage in it.
